It takes 45 minutes to reach Brighton from London by train, and there are also frequent connections to various destinations by coach. Newhaven ferry port, with various connections to the European continent, is about 40 minutes away by road.

For visitors closer to home, Brighton is now connected to all the major towns along the south coast by the A27, bringing the counties of Hampshire, Surrey, East and West Sussex and Kent within easy reach.
